Zach Richards is an internationally award winning law academic.
Prior to his academic career, Zach Richards practised as a lawyer and clerked for a judge at the Supreme Court NSW.
He holds a PhD in Human Rights Law (2017) with a Australian Postgraduate Award Research Fellowship Scholarship at the University of Oxford.
SCHOLARSHIP
His book Responsive Legality: The New Administrative Justice is available in leading bookstores and university law libraries in over 100 countries worldwide.
Zach Richards has presented his scholarship globally including as an invited speaker at The University of Oxford. He has published in numerous leading academic journals and with law colleagues on collaborative projects with various organisations such as the United Nations, Amnesty International and government think tanks.
TEACHING
Zach Richards has 15 years experience lecturing thousands of law students across multiple subject areas as part of dynamic teaching teams (Legal Skills, Legal Systems, Legal Research, Human Rights Law, International Law, Jurisprudence, Law and Social Theory, Law in the Global Context, Public Law, Administrative Law, Equity Law, Advanced Equity, Tort Law, Foundations of Law, Law and Society Masters).
SERVICE
Zach Richards has served on multiple university committees including in relation to internationalisation, digitisation, learning and teaching and curriculum review.
