Human Rights Law Expert
Zach Richards is an internationally award winning human rights law expert.
Prior to his academic career, Dr Richards practised as a lawyer, clerked for a judge at the Supreme Court NSW and worked as Legal Policy Advisor for the Australian Federal Government Department of Immigration and Citizenship.
He holds a PhD in Human Rights Law (2017) with an Australian Postgraduate Award Research Fellowship Scholarship at the University of Oxford.
TEACHING
Zach Richards has 15 years experience lecturing thousands of law students across multiple law subjects as part of dynamic university teaching teams.
SCHOLARSHIP
Zach Richards' book Responsive Legality: The New Administrative Justice is available in leading bookstores and university law libraries in over 100 countries worldwide.
He has published in numerous leading academic journals and worked with law colleagues on collaborative projects with various organisations such as the United Nations, Amnesty International and government think tanks.
SERVICE
Zach Richards has served on multiple community and university boards and leadership committees.
